Our Teachers

Katie Gettys is the owner and founder of Mini Musicians Studios. The studio name actually came from her first email address she made when she was 8 years old (except she originally spelled it incorrectly as "musicain" 😂).

Katie has a Bachelors in Music Education from Florida State University, where she studied voice under Larry Gerber & choral education under Kevin Fenton & Judy Bowers. She was mentored as an elementary music teacher by Grammy nominee Ernesta Chicklowski. She's been singing & playing guitar since she was 8 years old.

She has a huge passion for teaching, developing music curriculum, & simply bringing more kiddos to music. You'll likely see her smiling, laughing, & dancing through class with her high-energy teaching style.

Teaches: elementary music, guitar, ukulele, voice, GarageBand

Since his graduation from Chapman University, he's been teaching private, group, & classroom music lessons & has found a passion for teaching & learning with his amazing students.
