Every Child Can Learn
What makes Mini Musicians so unique?
Learn More
Dear Parent,

Give your child the gift of music. Classical music enlivens the soul, enobles the character and will provide entertainment and enjoyment for a lifetime. It is rarely ever too early to start learning and there is no better time to start than now. There are inumerable benefits to starting to learn to play an instrument between the ages of 3-7, and by doing so, your child will realize their full musical potential. If it is your desire for your child to learn to play, and you are able to put the time in and follow directions, your child WILL succeed!

It is my philosophy that no one methodology is ever complete and appropriate for all students. As a teacher I am committed to combining the best aspects of various methodologies such as Suzuki, Mark O’Connor, Mimi Zweig and Kurt Sassmannshaus as well as musicianship methodologies such as Dalcroze Eurythmics and Music Mind Games. By doing so, I am able to  develop all aspects of musicianship in my students.

I am looking forward to working with you and your mini musician! Please contact me with any questions you may have.

Thank you,

Emily Martins

“Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.”
- Shinichi Suzuki
